Land Rover celebrates 60 years

British luxury 4x4 maker Land Rover yesterday celebrated 60 years of building off-road motoring icons. It was April 30 in 1948 when the original Land Rover, dubbed the Series 1, was first shown at an Amsterdam motor show. Today, Land Rover customers and staff will be celebrating the company's long-lived success with special events and activities all summer long.
