North-American 2009 Mazda6 unveiled

The mid-size sedan segment is the most competitive on the market, and Mazda is going to war with a brand-new 6. The 2009 Mazda6 will initially be offered in four-door configuration only, and will have a choice of two engines. A 2.5-liter 4-cylinder can be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic, while the 3.7-liter V6 borrowed from the CX-9 is available with a 6-speed automatic.
