Subaru announces EyeSight coming, celebrates BRZ line-off

Subaru this week announced plans to bring its EyeSight driving assist suite to North America beginning this summer. The technology, already a proven hit in Japan where EyeSight models account for 90% of all Legacy and Outback sales, is the world's first to use solely stereo camera technology to detect objects in front of the car, such as pedestrians or cyclists. The suite includes pre-collision braking control, pre-collision brake assist system, lane-sway warning system and adaptive cruise with all-speed range tracking function.
