The space up! blue runs on water and solar power!

VW's space up! blue concept car is motivated by a revolutionary powertrain. This compact, zero-emission van benefits from the world's first high-temperature fuel cell as well as 12 lithium-ion batteries. The latter can be recharged by plugging the vehicle to any power outlet. A full battery charge will allow a range of about 105 kilometers. The high-temperature fuel cell extends this range to more than 250 kilometers.
