Volvo at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show
After nearly 7 years on the market, the new midsized Volvos are starting to appear. The new skin is directly in line with the Volvo's evolving design language. The rear end of the V70 carries Volvo's trademark vertical taillamps that line the "D" pillar from a wide base to the top. The overall shape is more aggressive than the previous and makes the car even more desirable. The interior gets new materials, dual height-adjustable child booster seats integrated into the rear bench and upgraded side curtain air bags. Safety remains empirical for Volvo. Under the hood, the family's 235 hp 3.2L I-6 resides and is said to be efficient and adequate.
