1995 - 2004 Land Rover Discovery Pre-Owned

Just the same Disco's hold their value quite well, with some quick research showing 1995 examples with low mileage fetching

upwards of $20,000 - or at least that's the asking price. Of those currently for sale, most showed less mileage than average. Where a 1995 model should have between 150,000 to 200,000 kilometers on the odometer, the Discovery's on the market featured only 100,000 to 130,000 kilometers, showing either that their owners babied them or didn't like them at all. Like any used purchase, it's always best to find a well kept example, with low mileage preferable but not at the expense of accurate records of regular service intervals.

If you can find a Discovery that appears to have lived a good life causing little discomfort to its owner, it might just be one of the better ones and well worth picking up. Don't fall for the, "I've replaced everything so it's just like a new car" line, as without doubt problems will continue to recur.
