The car's stalwart reliability, that included no recalls over its 4-year run, may have a lot to do its high resale values, strengthened recently by the brand's incredible move up the sales charts. It recently surpassed arch rival Lexus along the way, led by none other than the new G35, the G20's replacement.
What have they done to make the new car such a monumental success? Everything they didn't do with the old one. It has its own, extremely distinct and fortunately superb design, class leading power and handling - stomping on BMW's longstanding title - and an upscale interior that features intuitive ergonomics. What's more, word has it an AWD version will soon be available, targeting Audi. While the old G20 couldn't be quantified as a mistake, Infiniti has certainly learned from the past.
