Honda has a great reputation for fuel economy as well. The Si-R, contrary to its brat-pack personality, sips away at the petrol like a tea-granny dotes over her Red Rose. The coupes storage is fairly good considering it's such a small car. The trunk has ample room for that weekend getaway, easily handling golf clubs, tennis rackets, bags, etc. The split rear seat backs fold for extended items such as skis - or depending upon your sporting preference, javelin or pole vault.
On the whole, the Si-R is a well-rounded performer. It is wonderfully quick, handles impeccably, has supportive, comfortable seats (unless you're in the cramped rear quarters) and delivers fairly good value. It will stimulate the hot-blooded performance side of your personality for a price that won't leave you lining up at the food bank.
