Cadillac targets customers this way: 55% male and 45% female, average age 50 (used to be 62!) while last model attracted 13% of its customers under 35 years olds! In 1999, Cadillac sold 25,000 units as the forecast was for only 15,000. Expectations? Growth is expected since the luxury utility market grew 47% since 1998 and sales should go from around 250,000 in 2000 to some 600,000 in 2004 (that is including Range Rovers, RX 300's and more).

As far as towing capacity is advertised, look at a 14,000 lbs GCW. Other accessories are coming along the way like office organizers, bike, ski or kayak carriers. As far as price is concerned, the Escalade won't be sold until next spring so we'll have to wait. And a little later, I should be able to give you my driving impressions. But if you read carefully the specifications, you have a pretty good idea of what this particular Caddy is able to do!
