The non-GTC convertibles get a standard 4-speed automatic, with the LXi and Limited versions sporting the manual-mode AutoStick. I rarely used the manual selector during city or relaxed highway driving, but appreciated it during an enthusiastic stint traversing a winding secondary highway. It improves control by holding the desired gear in place as you complete a turn, instead of automatically upshifting as a traditional automatic transmission would.

All in all, the new Sebring convertible delivers exciting performance coupled with extreme comfort for an exceptional value. In my opinion, there are few more attractive drop tops on the road at any price. That said its $29,995 entry fee should no doubt keep it high atop Canada's best sellers list.
