As for handling dynamics expect to be impressed as well. If the new G35 is any indication of Infiniti's current suspension capabilities the M45 should dance around every competitor on the floor. Obviously its RWD configuration will improve at the limit handling. As important a four-wheel independent suspension system with front struts and a rear multi-link setup, standard 18-inch alloy wheels and P235/45WR-18 Michelin tires should keep the M45 glued to the pavement. For added safety Infiniti includes Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control System (TCS), 4-wheel vented discs and 4-wheel ABS, Brake Assist with Electronic Brake force Distribution as well as a tire pressure monitoring system and High Intensity Discharge (HID) xenon headlights. Driver and passengers will be passively protected by the usual dual stage front airbags, joined by front driver and passenger side-impact and curtain airbags plus front-seat active head restraints.

While safety is important luxury is paramount in this class. Such features will include the expected authentic wood trim, smoke graphite colored bird's eye maple in this case, Infiniti-exclusive Sojourner leather seating surfaces and beautifully detailed metal accents, all standard of course. Standard convenience features include illuminated entry and exit with time delay fade-out, a 10-way power driver's seat and 4-way power front passenger seat, automatic dual-zone temperature control with ambient temperature display and rear console mounted vents, a vehicle information system, a performance-oriented orange backlit instrument cluster, heated and cooled front seats and last but not least an 8-speaker, 240 watt Bose Premium audio system with 6-disc dash-mounted CD changer. Optional equipment includes voice recognition for the vehicle information system, a DVD-based navigation system with an upgraded 147 mm (5.8 in) LCD display screen and Infiniti's exclusive Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) that uses lasers to sense the distance of vehicles ahead and then automatically adjusts the M45's speed to maintain a safe braking zone.
