Design, Comfort and Convenience
The design of the Grand Marquis has undergone several refinements for2003. Inside the vehicle, major changes include increasing the driver's seattravel by 38.1 millimetres (1.5 inches).
For 2003, there are two Grand Marquis models - the GS and LS. The LS isavailable in Premium, Ultimate and five-passenger LSE arrays. LS modelsaccount for approximately 85 percent of Grand Marquis sales.
The GS features power-adjustable brake and accelerator pedals and remote-keyless entry as standard. The LS Premium adds 16-inch, nine-spoke alloywheels, a power front passenger seat with power lumbar support, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and other features. The LS Ultimate includes the LSPremium features, as well as a wood and leather steering wheel, electronicinstrumentation and rear air suspension. The LSE includes a handling package,leather seating surfaces for five passengers with a front centre console andfloor shifter.
The trunk of the Grand Marquis is the largest in its class, with 583.3litres (20.6 cubic feet) of space. The trunk's low liftover height of 675.6 mm(26.6 inches) makes loading and unloading easy. A trunk organizer is availableon all models.
