All said the X5 is beautifully made even in base trim, with probably the best quality interior of any sport utility this side of a Range Rover - that incidentally was designed by BMW and incorporates many X5 components. The X5's doors shut with an awe-inspiring solidity too, part of that unquantifiable element of precision the BMW exudes that has to be experienced first hand to be appreciated.
