There's no reason why not. Providing consumers can get their heads wrapped around its basic premise, their checkbooks should answer with a steady flow of deposits come fall of 2003 when it reaches Kia dealers as a 2004 model. Like the XG is for Hyundai the Amanti won't necessarily become a big seller, but it will be a big morale boost for dedicated Kia dealers and a bit of a halo car for loyal Kia customers to aspire too.
All in all the Amanti is a bold move by a feisty Korean competitor that so far, has never shied away from a fight. So get your fists up midsize competitors, the luxury car world will never be the same.
