The Endeavor Limited is equipped with full-time all-wheel drive (AWD), perfect for my regular drives up to Whistler. Unfortunately I had no opportunity to test it out as I didn't end up going there, nor did I venture into rugged terrain to test out its off-road

capabilities. Of course, the Endeavor doesn't feature a low-gear, as it wasn't intended for serious mud slinging. Rather, it has been set up to handle snow and ice with what is said to be excellent manners. Still I can't say first hand, as city pavement was as exotic as it got all week.

Speaking of exotic, I have never come across a feature like "dishwasher safe dual cupholders." These are quite handy considering the amount of drinking (steamed milk), driving, and spilling I do while maneuvering through the city streets - just another smart idea to keep the car clean.

Other standard features included in the Limited are power door and tailgate locks, power windows, cruise control, remote keyless entry and panic alarm, dual front airbags, front door pockets, rear cabin privacy glass, illuminated visor mirrors left and right, halogen headlights, integrated halogen fog lights, and a height adjustable steering column.

Also standard on the Limited is the Sportronic 4-speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift control and clutchless manual shifting. I am still not the biggest fan of automatic transmissions, but the Endeavor could convert me over. It shifts smoothly in automatic mode, while its "clutchless manual shifting" is appreciated as it allows me to gear down without having to tap the brakes.
