I suppose these are some of those extras that give the LS interior a unique character, besides being a great way to keep drinks cold on a hot summer's vacation, in respect to the former attribute, or with regards to the latter, an extremely efficient way of distributing air to the cabin. The multi-adjustable rear seats are also wonderful, making the top-tier package ideal for real estate agents or others who regularly host clients in the back seat.

Of course, you'd need to be an extremely successful real estate agent to be willing to spend the extra $20,000 plus for the Ultra-Premium package. Itemize all the items stated above and it's easy to see that dollar for dollar it's not a bad deal, but when tacked on to the bottom line it increases to a lofty $105,400; or $106,200 if the semi-aniline leather seats are added in.

fully-loaded LS price. But it's not all about price is it? Having already talked about prestige and the impact such a non-tangible has on a luxury car buyer's decision, the LS 430's unrivaled reliability needs to be stressed.

J.D. Power and Associates, one of the auto industry's most respected third party analytical firms, has rated Lexus highest in initial quality and dependability for years. The 2004 studies resulted in the same findings, ranking the LS as the top-rated premium luxury car. J.D. Power is not alone, with highest marks coming from Consumer Reports and others that rank automotive brands.
