By using the tricks of the trade, a handful of ingenious technologies and, (most importantly) not taking short cuts, Mitsubishi has produced a warmed-over compact sedan that's as satisfying to drive as it is to look at, and one that few can match in its overall bang for the buck. It's also one I could easily see in my driveway for a few years down the road, and that's saying a lot.
