light. As I sat there, an acquaintance I hadn't seen for a while was walking along the sidewalk. A puzzled look was on her face as I waved and smiled at her. I rolled down the passenger side window and said "Hi." After a couple of seconds, she recognized me and greeted me back. Time was not of the essence for the light had just turned green, but she did manage to squeeze in a "Hey, how are you? I didn't recognize you... classy car you're driving. Well, see you later." As I proceeded into the intersection, the words "classy car you're driving" lingered in my mind. It almost seemed like she used the wrong adjective to describe the Pontiac. I thought about it for another moment and realized I wasn't behind the wheel of a Sunfire, but of the all-new 2005 Pontiac Pursuit, the Sunfire's replacement, which on second thought, is classy in its own way.

popular-selling sedan up a few classes with regards to styling and design, both on the inside and out. The Pursuit boasts GM's Delta architecture which improves handling, an upgraded Ecotec 4-cylinder engine for enhanced acceleration, plus a more modern design and larger interior. Despite all the nipping, tucking and restyling, however, the Pursuit still sports traditional Pontiac styling cues such as a vented front fascia with twin-port grille, cat-eye headlamps and the requisite badging. The fusion of classic and modern Pontiac characteristics makes for quite a nice looking, and great driving car.
