settling into the comfort of a Cadillac, Lexus or Lincoln product. The leather covered furniture in my tester was among the most comfortable I have experienced in any automobile. Legroom is simply superb, in both the front and rear seats, with headroom being generous up front but less so in the rear. That said, no one under 183 cm (6 ft) will have reason to complain while riding in the back unless sporting some sort of Mod Squad afro or Marge Simpson beehive. What's more likely to be commented on is the Azera's smooth ride and splendid operational refinement,

which begins with Hyundai's silken, Lambda 3.8 litre (232 cu in), DOHC, aluminum V6.
This is a new engine for the Korean manufacturer and it's as up to date as they come, utilizing technology such as Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) and a Variable Intake System to establish a broad torque curve. As well as engineering this mill to breathe freely and spin unimpeded, Hyundai's performance folks tweaked it to yield 263-horsepower and 255 foot-pounds of torque. The net outcome is impressive indeed, especially considering the engine's regular fuel requirement and its Ultra Low Emission Vehicle Certification (ULEV).
