Conclusion

I can only conclude that if DCX built this huge Jeep, they must have done their homework. If we consider that gas is so expensive, SUV sales have slowed down and that people are migrating more towards cars, wagons and compact SUVs, DCX must have figured that there is a market for this truck. One thing that is certain is that a person looking into buying the Commander must realise what he or she is getting into. Gas prices might
be stabilizing at the moment but filling up a 78 litre gas tank will never cost less than $60 again. If one tank of fuel will not even take you from Montreal to Toronto, budget modifications will be required to keep this beast on the road.

Generally speaking, DCX products have improved quality wise over the last half decade. Even so, I would still recommend the purchase of an extended manufacturer's warranty should you decide to buy an Admiral, sorry, a Commander.
