Conclusion
Some cars out there are what I call "no brainers". What I mean by this is
that the vehicle itself is the perfect answer to consumer needs in a specific category. Therefore, the Solara is the perfect 4-seater convertible: the price is right, the comfort is spot-on, it looks good and it is reliable.
The Solara is probably not on most people's sporty car shopping list but the Convertible certainly should be. It holds many qualities, even its exterior styling which sparked enough curiosity that a few passer-by's took the time to walk around the car to see what it was. I did not expect to be as pleasantly surprised by this car. I should have known better, Toyota rarely misses the target.
Good stuff:
Comfort
It is a Toyota
Not so good stuff:
Brake pedal feel
Competitors:
Chrysler Sebring Convertible
Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible
Ford Mustang V6 Convertible
