Replacing the un-appreciated Allroad wagon, the Q7 SUV is Audi's first truck ever. Largely based on the Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg, the Q7 will feature the Passat's 280 hp 3.6L V6 as well as the A6 and A8's 4.2L V8. No Audi would be complete without their own legendary Quattro AWD system.
Due out in February 2006, the FSI-equipped V8 will pump out 350 hp. A FSI V6 will also be available in September. Suspension components will consist of an adaptive air suspension that can automatically lower the ride height when cruising at highway speeds. Basic wheel size is 18". Optional sizes include 19" and 20". The truck will have 7-passenger seating configuration and Audi's MMI (Multi Media Interface) and a high-powered BOSE audio system.
