Even by saving 3 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometres, while driving 25,000 km every year, the savings will only amount to $750 a year compared to the 4-cylinder Camry. The Camry LE costs $25,900.
Also, as long as other drivers won't be patient with hybrid vehicles on the road, we'll never be able to fully exploit them. At least we know that with a moderate level of effort, we can succeed in saving the planet before it's too late.
