The upcoming Malibu has been misidentified by some as the next Impala, but these pictures ARE in fact of the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.
Codenamed GMX386 and riding on the new Epsilon 2 platform, the Malibu is larger than the current one. Actually it seems to be catching up in size with the Impala - the future of which remains uncertain.
The stylish new front-wheel drive Malibu should be at dealerships in the fall of 2007.
