Monster mover, manageable mileage
The numbers, please
Perhaps not as amusing as filling it up, though. My actual mileage averaged 12L/100 km during 4 days of city, highway and off-road driving. That's measured by hand, not by the sometimes-wishful trip computer. These figures are about the same as a smaller, less-powerful Ford Escape V6 or Honda Pilot.

Hybrids are as much about being on the cutting edge of a new technology as they are about saving fuel.

Of course, you may never break even on fuel savings--so doing your own pre-purchase math is in order. For now, Hybrids are equally as much about being on the cutting edge of a new technology as they are about saving fuel.

They're perhaps slowly catching on--though vehicles like this one should be able to help the cause.
