  • You wouldn't think you could actually get lost when you have GPS, but when you forget to use the GPS, you find out it's possible! We were quick learners and the GPS guided us everywhere after that.
We couldn't believe how much storage there was for our bags and boxes of wine.
  • The seat in the middle of the second row turns into a table--great feature! You can actually seat eight people, but if you don't need the seat, the table is very handy for setting out appetizers and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course).
  • Love the side window sunscreens--would be great for cranky, hot and tired kids!
  • Individual climate controls are outstanding. Ever tried to find a common comfortable temperature for six women?
  • Great on gas! We're not math stars, so we didn't figure out the actual mileage, but we only filled up twice.
  • The van is wonderfully quiet on the road, which is terribly important when six women are trying to have a single conversation! Everyone was easily heard. Outside noise barely made it into the van... we could have one big conversation/gossip fest the whole way, without anyone feeling left out. I've been in cars where you can't hear from the back seat what is going on in the front seat. The Odyssey is the perfect vehicle for a grrrrrrls road trip!
  • We discovered things by hit and miss, not taking the time to read the manual. We would recommend people read the manual, as there are so many features it was difficult to figure everything out.
  • We love the remote control doors. We did have one concern after eating dinner in a sketchy area. If you needed to close the doors very quickly for safety reasons, would you be able to? They close very slowly on their own and we didn't want to force the door to test it out.
  • It would be very easy to have your own space (listen to music or a DVD) if you chose. Though, If we wanted our own space, we would have stayed home.
  • A funny quote from the trip--it became our theme: "Pace myself?...I'm just getting started!!"
It would be very easy to have your own space (listen to music or a DVD) if you chose.
