The 2008 Vue is another example of GM plunging into their vast world inventory of parts and platforms. The new Vue shares its chassis with the Opel Antara and be available in four different models. Green Line and Red Line trims carry on the economical and high-performance engines. The Hybrid Green Line will be powered by the electric motor/generator and 2.4L 4-cylinder combo. The Red Line sports a 250-hp 3.6L V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. All Vues will get the following standard features: 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, stability and traction control and active head restraints. The most obvious comment that can be made about the new Vue is that it looks much better than the old.
The new Vue will hit showrooms in a few weeks, with its Green Line version to follow soon afterwards. As for the Aura Green Line, production will begin very soon.
