Whether you were or were not a fan of the previous Vue, the completely new entirely re-Vue-ed Vue is sure to please.

Although the basic pricing point is higher by $3,425 for the 2008 over the 2007 ($26,990 vs. $23,565), the new Vue still offers outstanding value. It is loaded with many standard features, technology and not to mention, style.

In the safety department, the Vue will be equipped with front, front seat side and side curtain air bags. Other safety features will include seat belt pretensioners, disengaging collapsible pedals, active head restraints and traction control with GM's StabiliTrak electronic stability control system. The Vue even includes a segment-exclusive electronic Trailer Sway Control feature.

The Vue will be one of the only north-american vehicles to be offered with a selection of 3 engines. Base FWD models will run with the 2.4L Ecotec engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. AWD XE models come equipped with a 3.5L V-6 that delivers 222-hp and 219 lb/ft. of torque. XR and Red Line models get GM's refined DOHC 3.6L V-6 that produces 257-hp and 248 lb/ft. of torque. Let us not forget the Green Line hybrid with a new front-wheel-drive V-6 application of GM's two-mode hybrid technology.

The 2008 Vue is the before-last piece Saturn puzzle. By this fall, the all-new Astra will make its debut is showrooms nation-wide when the transformation will be completed.
