It says something for the quality of a vehicle's design and styling when it's introduced at the 2007 Interior Design Show- a location that Audi Canada VP Diego Ramos couldn't have been happier with.
"With design being the principle aspect of the show, a more suitable location could not have been chosen to premier an automobile that Audi hopes will become as iconic as its predecessor" he said.
This represents the first time an automobile has been showcased at the event.
Ramos announced that the 2008 TT Roadster will carry a starting price of $53,600- for the efficient and entertaining 2.0L TFSI engine attached to the front wheels. TFSI stands for Turbocharged Stratified Fuel Injection- a seamless marriage of two technologies which results in reasonable fuel efficiency and usable power with a broad torque band. A 3.2 litre V6 with Quattro is also available for the TT- intended for drivers after the ultimate experience in any weather.
Several cutting edge technologies will be available, including magnetically actuated suspension dampening and the German carmakers S-Tronic F-1 based gearbox system.
