You do know what this means right? The L.A. show signifies the official launch of the Auto Show season, SEMA not withstanding. Once again, Team Auto123.com will do its darnedest to bring you the best, most comprehensive and timely coverage possible.

This year, 3 people will be making the trek to sunny California (terrible job is it not?) to cover unveilings, presentations and press conferences galore. Our photographer Philippe Champoux will bring you top-notch photo galleries that only a pro could.

In the journalistic department, Marc Bouchard will be making the trip on behalf of Mazda, expected to make announcements and show off a key model that will be available in the near future namely the the presentation of the new North-American spec Mazda2. In the not too distant past, we were given the opportunity to test a Russian model. Click here for the link.

Also, Matt St-Pierre will be landing at LAX prior to the Show, this time for General Motors. As we all know, the General is not who he used to be but the recovery has already begun. Often talked about vehicles will finally make their debut and they should include the long-awaited replacement for the Cobalt, the new Cruze not to mention the equally very long-awaited Volt.

Expect comprehensive reporting on a number of manufacturer's press conferences during press days, December 2nd and 3rd.

The 2009-2010 Auto Show season is underway, so keep it here for all the latest auto news, reviews and industry coverage.
