Let the mind run free, and what can be done in support of mountain, water and snow activities is limitless. The availability of all-wheel-drive would make this van a recreational wonder but alas, I don’t see such divinity in its immediate future.

Transit Connect – making many connections
Ford’s little wonder van is highly unique in the current, North American automotive landscape. The creative and capable are sure to see the full potential of this unfinished canvass while those simply seeking utility will be well served.

The Transit Connect is a European Ford product that’s new to the shores of North America.

If there is an inhibitor to the multitudes that would find true purpose in ownership, it would likely be price. After destination and delivery fees, my tester totaled $29,679. Not outrageous by any means but verging on the steep side for an empty box, albeit this price includes Roll Stability Control and the aforementioned audible park assist.

It should also be mentioned that 4-wheel antilock brakes plus front airbags and side-mounted front seat airbags all arrive as standard equipment.
