Do you want a premium crossover SUV, but haven’t got the extra arm and leg required to pay for it? Fear not, value-minded shopper—the Veracruz was built just for you. Though it’s packed full of entertainment and luxury hardware, it’s also a Hyundai, which means it’s big on affordability, confidence and style.

Your new Veracruz is sure to get the neighbours talking. Its unique style is characterized by chrome accenting, an expressive grille, a swoopy roofline and a tall, rugged and well-travelled look. Alloy wheels, fog lamps and an integrated hatch-spoiler nod at the machine’s sporty and adventurous side, too.

Pricing starts at $36,999 for a 2010 Veracruz GL with front-wheel drive. The Veracruz GLS and Limited are priced from $40,999 and $47,299 respectively—and both include standard on-demand all wheel drive. Every Veracruz model comes with a 266 horsepower V6 engine with variable valve timing for plenty of power and efficiency.

Inside, occupants can expect comfort and noise levels on par with a luxury sedan, alongside flexible seating for up to 7. Hyundai designers have made sure there’s plenty storage at hand, too. Heated leather seating, Infinity Audio, and a rear-seat entertainment console are all available, too—as are rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a HomeLink integrated transceiver.

Safety-conscious shoppers won’t be disappointed, either. Veracruz benefits from six airbags, active head restraints, stability control and traction control on every model. Rear parking assist and an ignition immobilizer are all on board, too.

The 2010 Veracruz is ready for test-drives now!
