The EX or the FX?
This is an interesting question. The EX is a compact luxury CUV whereas the FX is an only slightly larger mid-size CUV, but commands a hefty premium price-wise. If the stage presence of the FX is not a purchase criteria, the EX will do a fine job of carrying you and yours on your daily commute with ease. Trunk space is tighter but only by a thin margin. What you will get is an equally engaging drive.

Now then, an FX. How does it measure up to the X5, the Lexus RX and Cadillac SRX? It's the smallest of the lot but does offer the most dynamic driving experience, more so than the BMW given its weight and girth.
In the end, if you're in it for the drive and only need it for yourself and your significant other, you'll be hard pressed to find a more prestigious and agreeable vehicle.
