The RX sport-utility vehicle is all-new for 2010, and boasts an all-new shape as well as a thoroughly redesigned cockpit. More luxury features are available, and as before, two variants will be available.
The RX 350 is powered by a revised version of the 3.5-litre V6 that develops 275 horsepower, and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.
The RX 450h boasts a new Hybrid Synergy Drive system which produces a combined output of 295 horsepower, while offering lower fuel consumption and lower emissions.
Lexus also presented a new convertible based on the IS sedan. Available in two models, the IS 250 C will be powered by a 204-hp, 2.5-litre V6 while the IS 350 C gets a 306-hp, 3.5-litre V6. The power three-panel hardtop roof opens up in about 20 seconds, while the audio and climate-control systems have been tuned to auto-adjust depending whether the top is up or down.
The RX 350 will hit showrooms next month, while the RX 450h and IS C will arrive in the spring.
