Okay, now what is it? Is it a wagon? A crossover? A hatchback? When we ask the friendly people at Nissan Canada, they answer our question with a question: “Why are you journalists trying so hard to categorize the cube?”
So according to the manufacturer, the cube shouldn’t fit in any of the vehicle categories mentioned above. Then I guess it’s officially a Thingamabob.
But that’s okay. The important thing is that it provides a comfortable ride, lots of room, good fuel economy, and punchbowls of style and character. It does. Now, if only people would stop making fun of me while I’m behind the wheel I’d be all set. It might be a girly car, but at least it gets the attention I assume Nissan is expecting from it.
Our fuel economy average this week is 8.1 L/100 km, which is okay for us. (Photo: Matthieu Lambert/Auto123.com) |
