The 2010 edition of the Quail, its eight year, located at the Quail Lodge Golf Club, was packed with numerous cars. Better, cleaner and more expensive cars. Although, according to a few colleagues that were here last year, there were fewer participants, this year's show did not disapoint.
Some of the featured stuff was downright impressive! I you love Mustangs, here was the place to be as an entire contingency was on hand celebrating the famous Pony Car's 45th anniversary. An entire section was dedicated to Alfa Romeo and its special coachbuilders from years past.
Porsche, Bugatti, Ferrari, Bentley and Mercedes fans were treated to numerous pristine cars, in some case, dating back up to nearly a century. My show favourite would have to be Creative Workshop's 1963 V8 prototype (remember it from the Show?). The craftsmanship and attention to detail were enough to make a grown man cry. I know I shed a tear!
