Cabin noise is certainly something that makes a difference for me when I take long road trips, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
As per the norm, the Chrysler 200 comes equipped with a long list of standard safety features such as antilock brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control, front side airbags and side curtain airbags.
Of course, the elephant in the room throughout the auto industry right now is the price of gas. Every manufacturer is doing their part to attract money- and environment-conscious buyers. With that in mind, the 2.4-litre engine is rated at 9.9L/100km in the city and 6.7 on the highway. And the V6 Pentastar is rated at an impressive 11L/100km in the city and only 6.8 on the highway.
The midsize market is very competitive with the likes of the already established Camry and Accord. With new styling and lower base prices the 200 will also have to compete with the VW Jetta and Hyundai Sonata.
While not striving to be number one, just respectfully wanting to get back into the game, I think that Chrysler has succeeded.
