Wrapping the Durango
The new Dodge Durango Citadel is a far more luxurious and opulent vehicle than one would expect. This top-of-the-line Dodge is replete with the latest technology, such as adaptive cruise control and a 30-GB media centre.
It’s also graced with a full suite of comfort and convenience installs along with the latest in occupant protection and crash avoidance systems.
My as-tested price was $51,770, which included all of the Citadel’s standard content plus a trailer tow package, rear DVD entertainment and an off-road package. Despite exceeding $50K, I see good value in this vehicle. It forces one to question the need to lay out nearly twice that amount for a premium marque that, frankly, would have little more to offer.
