The multitasking vehicle
We’ll argue that if you’re unable to successfully park your vehicle without any damage, maybe you shouldn’t be driving, but the Active Park Assist will help avoid curbside alloy wheel scratches.

Base price for a front-wheel drive, 2011 Flex SE is $29,999 before taxes, freight and delivery charges. Our super-equipped, all-wheel drive Titanium goes for $49,599, although the options in our tester raise the final tab to $56,949. I hope you were sitting down.

There aren’t any direct competitors to the Flex, especially if you factor in the EcoBoost engine. But at over $50K, the Titanium will go head-to-head with 7-passenger luxury SUVs such as the Acura MDX and Ford’s own Lincoln MKT.

Room for six, mind-boggling performance, self-parking, packed with techno goodies and luxuriously appointed, the Flex can multitask just like us and our computers and smartphones. Okay, it all depends on how much you’re willing to pay and if the unique look of the Flex pleases you, but at least you know it can handle your rapid-paced lifestyle.
