The Looks, Economy and the Power
Optimistic wrap
Despite some creaking from the area of the panoramic roof, I felt the Optima Hybrid was accurately assembled, solid and robust. It’s definitely an exciting car visually, and has plenty of potential to please. I think it still has some distance to go before it’s as operationally refined and unobtrusive as its main hybrid rivals, the Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry.

That said, the Optima Hybrid packs plenty of oomph to back up its more dynamic appearance and sportier driving experience, and should be considered a contender to folks in the market for a distinctive midsize sedan that carries a green streak.
