The track beast
For the rest, well, the car is pure Z. That means 195 litres of cargo space, all of it in everyone’s sight, so you can’t hide any valuables other than in a small storage box behind the driver’s seat. That also means a very restricted view out back, thanks to the rear wing, the slanted rear window and the minuscule side windows. Form over function.

A base 370Z lists for $40,898 before taxes, freight and delivery; add the Sport Package and you’re just under $45K. A NISMO 370Z is priced at $46,898, which is a reasonable extra charge for the performance and handling upgrade.

Only 50 copies of the NISMO 370Z will be sold in Canada this year. As this is being written, there are still some available.

The regular 370Z was already a terrific-handling car, but the NISMO is even better. It’s still drop-dead gorgeous and gets the stares. In addition, its limited production will guarantee you exclusivity. But unless you plan on throwing it around on a track, you won’t exploit the car’s full potential but will have to live with the aforementioned sacrifices. Your call.
