I was obviously happy about prancing around for a week in a WRX, even if it was a Plasma Blue sedan (I can't stop myself). Thankfully, only moments after driving away with the car, I was relieved to find an old friend. A competent, capable and reliable old friend.
At $32,495, the WRX sedan is not cheap but all-season performance bang-for-the-buck has no equal (Ralliart sedan retails for $31,798). Personally, I'd spring for the $33,395 five-door, source an STI hatch-mounted spoiler and some fog lights. Booyah!
Incidentally and as if you did not know, Subaru's Symmetrical AWD system is fantastic for foraging in the snow or for good times on a gravel road.
