Here's one minivan that deserves a badge of honour!
The vast cargo area swallows an impressive amount of luggage and camping gear. In fact, the Sienna offers best-in-class cargo room at 4,250 litres, followed by the Odyssey (4,173), Grand Caravan (4,070) and Sedona (4,007). You can fit 8-foot long 2x4s and still close the rear hatch. Use any leftover space for a dozen boxes full of food and you’ll have one happy bunch of boy scouts!

The base LE model isn’t the sexiest or the most generously-equipped in the lineup, obviously. Buyers will have to sacrifice the always-handy rearview camera, audio controls on the steering wheel as well as the storage compartment/armrest found between the two front seats. They’ll also have to forget about the height-adjustable driver’s seat, a luxury that short-legged people can hardly live without nowadays.

Yet, my fellow scout instructors — both young and old — unanimously liked the big Toyota, which they nicknamed "Scoutienna." Here’s one minivan that deserves a badge of honour!
