With the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) less than four months away, the finalists for the Car of the Year and Truck of the Year awards have just been announced.
Hyundai/Kia received the most nominations (4), followed by Toyota/Scion (3). General Motors, Volkswagen, Audi and Chrysler boast two finalists apiece.
Despite its never-ending financial setbacks and idled production, Saab still managed to get in the race for the best new truck of 2012 with the 9-4X.
The following list will be narrowed down by the selection committee in December.
