The new Ford
As promising as the Focus is now, the future looks to be equally bright. Variants of the Focus are on their way, as are numerous new products based on Ford's C-Segment platform. One such example is the C-Max. Although a Focus wagon is on the docket for other markets, North America will gladly settle on the C.
The bar rises with every new car in this group, and the new Focus does exactly that, in a parallel fashion to the new Elantra. On one hand, you've got the juiced-up Ford compact, on the other, the lovely unconventional Korean one.
To date, nearly 10 million Focus' have been sold around the world since 1998; that's what you call success. The next-generation car is a sure-fire hit and many more millions will be sold in the coming years.
As for me, I had a great time in L.A. With my date. I did get her name but I never got a serial number. I wonder if I'll ever see her again...
