And yes, the V6, six-speed stick Tacoma still comes in grey – so if you ever trade yours in on a new one, you’ll feel right at home.
You’ll find the same rugged, tough ride quality, the same relatively decent manoeuvrability, the same torquey V6 engine, and the same overall character and attitude, too. Really, Toyota’s largely left well enough alone here – and that’s probably not a bad thing.
Just note that recent rumblings from GM of a new Canyon/Colorado mean that the Tacoma might not enjoy its limited competition for long.
