Texas-based Hennessey Performance has announced the arrival of the 2013 Venom GT Spyder, a topless version of the überpotent and exclusive Venom GT.
With an asking price of 1.1 million US dollars, the machine boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio thanks to the use of ultralight materials as well as a mid-mounted, twin-turbo V8 unleashing 1,200 snorting ponies and 1,155 lb-ft of torque.
The Venom GT sports the same engine so we can expect a top speed of about 443 km/h; the 0-100 km/h dash should take around 2.5 seconds.
You’ll have to hurry if you want to get your hands on one, though, because two of the five Venom GTs that will be built for the 2013 model year have already been reserved.
The cars will be delivered in the summer of 2012.
