Earlier this week at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show BMW unveiled the all-new 2 Series Gran Tourer, a minivan-like crossover with seating for up to seven that will go on sale in Europe as early as next month. There are no plans to launch the vehicle in North America in the near future, but it sure would give models like the Mercedes-Benz B-Class a run for their money.

According to BMW, the 2 Series Gran Tourer is the only car in its class to offer both all-wheel drive and 7-passenger capacity. Inside the roomy cabin, the third-row seats fold flat into the floor for more cargo space, while the second-row seats have small folding tables allowing children to draw or put down their snacks.

On the technology front, the BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer boasts an 8.8” centre control screen providing information like navigation at eye level. Under the hood, five different engines are available including 3- and 4-cylinder gasoline and diesel units that range from 114-189 horsepower.
