More stylish, sportier and safer than ever

The new 2018 Honda Fit is now available at Canadian dealerships and promises consumers a greater focus on styling, sportiness and safety. The new edition represents the first significant update for the third-generation Fit since its introduction in 2014.

Distinctive look
The design of the new Fit is marked by the two-piece grille with chrome and piano black trim (highlighted by a more prominent Honda “H”), better integrated headlights that blend into the lateral edges of the upper fascia’s wing, a full-width splitter at the bottom of the front bumper and more-angular fog-light pods.

The tail end of the Fit has also been reworked, with a new-look bumper now featuring a piano-black strip and a wing-shaped lower section, and new styling for the taillights. The image included here also illustrates a vibrant new colour option offered for 2018: Orange Fury.

Sport version
Sitting between the LX and EX version in the Fit lineup, the new Sport version of the 2018 Honda Fit adopts a more aggressive, sportier stance, distinguished by more aerodynamic forms in the front, on the sides and at the rear and by a prominent separator underlined in bright orange in the front.

Other notable features include an exclusive black finish for the 16-inch wheels, a three-strake diffuser in the rear, a chrome exhaust finisher and an eye-catching Sport badge.

Honda Sensing
This suite of state-of-the-art safety and drive-assist technologies will be included in all CVT versions, and it encompasses Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System incorporating Lane Departure Warning and Road Departure Mitigation incorporating Road Departure Warning. No other sub-compact available in Canada currently offers such a roster of next-generation safety systems.

“With sporty new styling and additional feature content, the 2018 Honda Fit ups the ante with new styling and sophistication not typically found in the subcompact segment,” said Jean Marc Leclerc, Senior Vice-President Sales and Marketing, Honda Canada Inc. “Fit has always represented a great value for subcompact customers and the addition of available Honda Sensing to its fun-to-drive performance and unmatched versatility will keep the Honda Fit as the industry’s benchmark subcompact."
