Tesla is announcing a new Google Glass app giving Model S owners some basic control over the car. This follows the smartphone app launched a few months ago.
Offering the same functions (cabin temperature adjustments, remote sunroof opening/closing, battery checks, etc.), the Google Glass app currently suffers from technological limitations that prevent users from accessing real-time driving data, such as vehicle speed.
Still, Tesla owners who have a pair of Google glasses can download the app at glasstesla.com
